The Wendy Williams Show” has been renewed through the 2019-20 television season on the Fox Television Stations, Debmar-Mercury announced Tuesday.

The nationally syndicated talk show has also been renewed on stations belonging to Media General and Cox, clearing the show in more than 50% of the U.S. heading into NATPE.

The renewal will keep “Wendy” on air through its 11th season. During the November 2015 sweeps period, the talk show finished either No. 1 or 2 in the key demo of women 25-54 in 55% of the U.S. and 20 of the top-25 markets.

Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus, Co-Presidents of Lionsgate-owned Debmar-Mercury said in a statement, “Wendy’s across-the-board strength in the demo most important to advertisers has made this talk show an indispensable part of stations’ daytime schedules. With these renewals, our valuable station partners can be assured this key lynchpin of their lineups will continue for many years to come, especially when it comes to having a powerful and dependable entertainment lead-out from many of their important morning news blocks. None of this would be possible without Wendy’s extraordinary talent and ability to captivate millions of loyal viewers each day.”

Frank Cicha, SVP of Programming, Fox Television Stations, said, “It’s for three more years? I thought it was longer!”

“We are truly grateful,” added Williams. “Let’s get it!”

The fact that this show continues to be renewed is absolutely shameful. There is absolutely nothing positive about the antics of this horrid individual who consistently fabricates topics that have no foundation of truth. If this is an attempt to diversify television, broadcasting this mistral show is not the solution.

Its a messy show but also appears on BET & now internationally so there are multiple revenue streams. Read comments on her website and social media and you can tell a large percentage of the audience is not very educated. Its a works where people love tmz & Kardashians & Housewives. She’s lucked out and become rich from the show & all the outside projects she’s leveraged. The amount of misinformation she spreads on Hot Topics is unbelievable though. I’ve worked on daytime talk and our host would have fired producers if they’d give her do many untruths.
