Ahead of “The Night Manager’s” April 19 debut, AMC has released images of the new Tom Hiddleston-Hugh Laurie project, exclusively to Variety.

An adaptation of the 1993 John le Carre espionage novel of the same name, the six-part miniseries follows British soldier-turned-luxury hotel manager Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston), who’s recruited to infiltrate the network of arms dealer Richard Onslow Roper (Laurie). In order to succeed in this undercover operation, Jonathan must engage in criminal activity. The crime drama, which is directed by Susanne Bier, also stars Olivia Colman, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth Debicki.

AMC also recently released “The Night Manager” trailer. Watch here.

This has been fantastic so far, real top class BBC drama. It is very cinematic and Hiddlestone and Laurie , and Coleman, demonstrate their quality here.

Really good series (watched episode 3 Sunday night on BBC in UK). Hiddleston and Laurie help create and sustain a wonderful feeling of suspense.
