Tonight’s episode of “Sleepy Hollow” will give fans a first look at Abbie and Jenny’s father.
Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) gets help breaking into a house owned by Ezra Mills, played by James McDaniel, by Joe (Zach Appelman), who poses as a potential homeowner in the area and asks about the neighborhood. Jenny sneaks into the house and discovers a lighter with E. Mills emblazoned on it, confirming to her that this is in fact her father.
The episode, called “Incident at Stone Manor,” also continues Crane (Tom Mison) and Sophie’s (Jessica Camacho) quest to save Abbie (Nicole Beharie). In doing so, they are forced to battle a supernatural force targeting citizens of Sleepy Hollow and allowing Pandora and the Hidden One to grow stronger.
This new chapter “Sleepy Hollow” will unfold Friday, Feb. 12 on Fox. The series, now in its third season, also stars Nikki Reed as Betsy Ross, Shannyn Sossamon as Pandora, Lance Gross as FBI Agent Daniel Reynolds and Peter Mensah as the Hidden One.
Showrunner Clifton Campbell spoke to Variety earlier in the season about the impact of bringing Papa Mills onto the scene:
“There are a lot of blanks that that character can fill in for anybody who’s a fan of this show, anybody who’s a fan of the Mills family story,” Campbell said. “All of their angst and the loss and sacrifice that they’ve been living with since day one is going back to their mother, so he can provide a lot of emotional context to the audience which we find very satisfying, and he’s really the perfect guy to play this.”
