Sarah Clarke will join “NCIS” as a guest star in the final two episodes of the current thirteenth season, Variety has learned. Sources say there is an option for her to become a series regular next season.

Clarke, who stars in Amazon’s “Bosch,” will play Tess Monroe, an FBI special agent who has recently transferred to D.C. from New York City. The multiple divorcée character is described as being quick-witted, tough, shrewd and as sexy as she is strong.

‘NCIS’ Star Michael Weatherly to Exit After 13 Seasons

“We feel so fortunate to have Sarah Clarke joining us to play Tess,” commented “NCIS” showrunner and exec producer Gary Glasberg. “I’ve been a fan of her’s going back to ’24’ and more recently ‘Bosch.’ She’s a gifted actress, a total pro, and we can’t wait to introduce her to our ‘NCIS’ family and have some fun.”

Season 14 of “NCIS” will see some major changes. While Clarke joining the ensemble in a regular capacity is a possibility, original cast member Michael Weatherly, who has played Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo since the series’ start, will exit the show at the end of Season 13.

Clarke starred in the first three seasons of “24,” and played Kristen Stewart’s mother in the “Twilight” franchise. Her TV credits include “Covert Affairs,” “The Tomorrow People” and “Nikita.”

Clarke is repped by Gersh and Levine Management.

  1. I was hoping for a new male star…No one can replace Michael but I think the show would be better with a male star…Sarah Clarke is a really good actress… I have enjoyed her in several programs… just have to see how it all works out… Good luck Sarah!

  2. Ava says:

no more female replacements I agree with previous poster use Borin

  3. Bill says:

Why don’t they just get Diane Neal on as a regular already? Everyone loves her CGIS agent Borin and they’ve teased about her coming over to NCIS before.

  4. acurat says:

She also plays being a “good” bad person very well. Watch for her twisting to being bad if she is on the show long enough. If she doesn’t go bad, it will be a first!

  5. keith hinkel says:

These casting directors get actresses any skinnier we will need binoculars to view the tv. Damn casters look for ladies that have a build!!
