CBS is bringing James Corden’s popular Carpool Karaoke segment to primetime later this month with an hourlong special that will include some of the host’s favorite moments in his first year as host of “The Late Late Show.”

The Eye announced Thursday that “The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special,” featuring an all-new Carpool Karaoke with Jennifer Lopez as well as highlights from past segments, will air Tuesday, March 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

“Late Late Show with James Corden” has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, and the show holds the YouTube record for the most-watched late-night clip with “Adele Carpool Karaoke,” which has 84 million viewers. The show’s YouTube Channel has amassed more than 800 million total views and 3.9 million subscribers since its premiere on March 23, 2015.

“I have loved every minute of hosting “The Late Late Show.” It’s been an incredible year,” said Corden in a statement. “I look forward to this hour on primetime to look at some of my favorite moments and share a couple of great new ones. I can’t wait!”

“The Late Late Show with James Corden” airs weeknights (12:37-1:37 a.m. ET/PT) following broadcasts of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on CBS. Ben Winston and Rob Crabbe are the executive producers.

  1. Geez, another show with already established celebrities. How about a show like Cash Cab, where random passengers compete for prizes? This star-worship thing is getting out of hand…

    • Bonusbar says:

Idiot. It’s about people singing in a car. That’s what pop stars are for, you listen to their songs and sing along. What’s your problem with that, didn’t you ever have a radio? And btw, people actually like it and want to watch it. Who would (seriously) want to watch random dudes drop into a cab?

    • Pointing Out the Obvious says:

      It’s a one-time special, ya git!
