  1. Janelle says:

Stop with the negativity. Avid soap fan here, who’s been watching “Days of Our Lives” for 30 years & counting. Even though I’ve never met these characters or actors, they feel like family & friends. I’d be devastated if it went off the air. Soaps are very relevant to the people who love them & there are MANY of us. Weren’t you ever taught: if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all?

  2. melmelina says:

Why are there even awards for soaps? There are only 4 left on the air – it seems pointless. Is it just to make the actors feel relevant?

  3. The Bold and the Beautiful’s Karla Mosley was, by far, the best actress on soaps in 2015. But, for the 43rd year in a row, the Daytime Emmys will have a white woman as the winner. Mosley didn’t even make the pre-nom round? Awful.

  4. Dunstan says:

Soaps are so boring and old. I wouldn’t want to see their staffs out of work but it’s hard to believe these few shows still remain on the air.
