‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Trailer Puts Elektra Front and Center

While the first trailer was all about the Punisher, Elektra takes center stage in the new teaser for “Marvel’s Daredevil” season two.

Part two of the official trailer for the upcoming season, released by Netflix on Thursday, focuses on the reunion between Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and ex-girlfriend Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung).

“Would you believe it if I said I missed you?” she asks. “No,” he responds frankly.

“I need your help, Matthew. You’re the only person I can trust,” the femme fatale goes on to say.

She reveals that the Yakuza never left and that she needs his help in taking them down before they take New York City. As if he didn’t have enough problems with the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and the Yakuza, the Man Without Fear must also contend with new enemies: The Hand, an organization of ninjas (as seen in the comics).

Elden Henson’s Foggy, Scott Glenn’s Stick, Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen and Rosario Dawson’s Claire also make appearances in the trailer.

“Daredevil” is executive produced by co-showrunners Marco Ramirez and Douglas Petrie, along with Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s head of television.

“Daredevil” season returns March 18 on Netflix with 13 one-hour episodes.

  1. I’m sorry, but it looks pretty boring to me. To be fair, I didn’t like the first season very much, either.

    This season is gonna ROCK!
