Ashley Judd has joined the cast of the “Twin Peaks” revival series.

Judd joins the already-stacked cast of returning original cast members (Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Michael Horse,Sheryl Lee, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton and Everett McGill) as well as new residents (Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Robert Knepper, James Belushi, Tom Sizemore, Balthazar Getty, Grant Goodeve, Larry Clarke, Caleb Landry Jones and Naomi Watts). Details of Judd’s role have yet to be announced, according to Deadline, which first reported the news.

“Twin Peaks” is currently in production and will air in 2017 on Showtime. It is written and produced by series creators and executive producers David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed by Lynch. See a teaser for the series here.

Judd recently appeared in “Divergent,” “Insurgent” and “Dolphin Tale.” Her TV credits include roles on “Missing” and “Sisters.”
