Cannes Gossip: Tom Bernard’s Fast Wheels, Julia Roberts’ Naked Feet

Sony Pictures Classics co-founder Tom Bernard gets to screenings fast — with a rented bicycle nicknamed “White Lightning.” He keeps the wheels locked up in the courtyard of the Carlton Hotel, and he’s not afraid of aggressive motorists. “Look, I drive from New Jersey every day into the Lincoln Tunnel, so I have a good sense of the road.” … “Let’s get the party started,” cheered Dionne Warwick at a press conference on Friday. Warwick was in Cannes to announce a film about her life, but she tried to start the presentation five minutes early. When a flack told her she had to wait, Warwick whipped out her phone and rang a pal to say “Happy birthday!” …  Julia Roberts made international headlines for walking the “Money Monster” carpet barefoot. She’s not the only celebrity to show off her pedicure in the South of France. Earlier this week, Kristen Stewart was spotted sans Louboutins outside the Palais, with black nail polish adorning her toes.
