John Legend to Perform at President Obama’s Next L.A. Fundraising Event

Singer John Legend will perform at a fundraiser during President Obama’s next trek to Los Angeles on Feb. 11.

According to an invite, Legend will give a performance at a fundraising reception in Hancock Park. Tickets start at $1,000 per person, and rise to $33,400 per couple. The money will go to the Democratic Hope Fund, a joint fundraising committee. The first $2,500 will go toward retiring Obama’s 2012 campaign debt, and the remainder to the Democratic National Committee.

Obama also will attend a discussion and dinner that evening, with tickets starting at $10,000 per person. Those who buy tickets at the $33,400 level will also get to attend a meet and greet with Obama, a photo reception and VIP seating.
