While Goldberg has hosted the awards show a total of four times, she most recently hosted in 2002. “The View” host, who won an Academy Award for “Ghost” in 1991, offered some advice to Sunday’s host Chris Rock, comparing the Academy Awards to a “race horse ready to go and run.”

“He knows what he’s doing,” Goldberg told Ryan Seacrest. “It’s one of those things when people have done it before you know the first six minutes are yours and the rest of the night people don’t care. They wanna know, ‘Did I win?’ And once you now that it’s all good.”
