Tina Fey has to deal with guns, Afghanistan and Margot Robbie as a foreign correspondent in the new red band trailer for Paramount’s war comedy “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.”

The trailer begins with Robbie’s British journalist asking Fey for permission to sleep with Fey’s bodyguard —  which Fey gives after only a brief hesitation. It ends with Fey on camera and describing Afghanistan’s first woman driver, who immediately crashes the car.

“That sucks for women,” Fey responds.

Martin Freeman, Alfred Molina, Billy Bob Thornton, Stephen Peacocke and Sheila Vand also star. The film is directed by “Crazy Stupid Love” helmers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

Freeman plays a Scottish war photographer and Molina is a local official — who both make advances on Fey’s Kim Barker.

“Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” is based on former Chicago Tribune reporter Barker’s 2011 memoir, “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan.” The film is scheduled to open March 4.
