The “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” stars, both 23, have received a huge amount of exposure, to say the least, in the past few weeks. The latest episode in the sci-fi franchise recently passed “The Avengers” to become the highest-grossing film for Walt Disney Studios and is on track to surpass “Avatar” as the biggest box office earner in history.
Ridley and Boyega are just two of the breakout stars to make Forbes’ 30 Under 30. The list, judged by Shonda Rhimes, Kelly Osbourne and Legendary Entertainment founder Thomas Tull, includes TV stars like “Game of Thrones” actress Emilia Clarke and “Girls'” Zosia Mamet. It also included rising movie names like “Room’s” Brie Larson; “50 Shades of Grey” star Dakota Johnson; “Straight Outta Compton” actors Jason Mitchell, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Corey Hawkins; and “Brooklyn’s” Saoirse Ronan.
