UPDATE, 10:40 pm PST – The Los Angeles Police Dept. evacuated the Hollywood offices of Broad Green Pictures late Tuesday afternoon after an incident involving an unknown suspect with a gun.

An LAPD spokesman said that police responded to a report that a man had entered the lobby claiming that he was being chased by another man with a gun. The spokesman said police searched the building but were unable to locate a suspect with normal business expected to resume Wednesday.

A Broad Green spokesman said there were no injuries. Broad Green went on with holding the Los Angeles premiere of the Christian Bale movie “Knight of Cups” on Tuesday evening in downtown Los Angeles — about 10 miles away from its offices.

Broad Green, launched in 2014 by brothers Gabriel and Daniel Hammond, moved from offices on North Las Palmas Avenue in the fall to its current location on Barton Avenue with about 100 employees.

Its most high-profile release so far has been “A Walk in the Woods.”
