Children’s film, “The World of Us,” which premiered in Berlin’s K-Plus section earlier this year, has been an early seller at Cannes for Seoul-based Finecut.
The film was licensed to AV Jet for Taiwan, MOOV for Benelux and to FIVIA for the former Yugoslav territories. It will receive its Korean theatrical release next month (June.)
The company’s thriller “Fatal Intuition,” a recent hit at the Korean box office, was licensed to Clover Films for Singapore and to AV Jet for Taiwan.
Chinese distributor Blue Media Times acquired new media rights only for mainland China to both “Fatal Intuition” and to “Love Guide for Dumpees.” “Love Guide” was also sold to Clover for Singapore, Klockworx for Japan, Viva Communications for The Philippines and to Taewang Sangsa for Mongolia.
