Perez Hilton Trades Houses in West Hollywood (EXCLUSIVE)

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton, whose snark-driven success has earned him much more moolah than many might imagine, surreptitiously sold his house in West Hollywood for a tetch more than $2.9 million. Property records indicate Hilton — real name Mario Lavandeira — acquired the glammed-up Mediterranean villa in the spring of 2009 for exactly $2 million, and listing details we dug up reveal there are four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in about 4,300 square feet. An office suite overlooks the walled and gated front courtyard, while a double-height center hall foyer leads to adjoining living and dining rooms that both spill out through accordion-fold glass doors to a pint-sized backyard with plunge pool, spa and curtained pavilion with outdoor fireplace.

Last year it was reported that the blogging mogul, who officially moved to New York City in 2013, was looking to buy a townhouse in lower Manhattan. Property records reveal the 37-year-old father of two, who hosts the syndicated “Radio Perez” program and appeared last year in the campy, Off Broadway satire “Full House! The Musical,” hasn’t given up a multimillion-dollar foothold in Los Angeles. Shortly after his West Hollywood digs were sold, he coughed up $2.9 million for a restored and updated 1920s Spanish-style home less than
a mile and a half away from his old house.
