The 73rd annual Golden Globes are taking place on Sunday, with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood attending in one of awards season’s biggest nights. The show’s airing live on NBC, starting at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST, but if you’re not around a TV, don’t worry — there are ways to watch the red carpet online.
Starting with the red carpet, which kicks off 3 p.m. PST, E! is hosting “Live! From the Red Carpet,” featuring Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic asking celebrities rapid-fire captions and, of course, showing their detailed manicures and extravagant dresses and suits. E! is streaming the show on its website, and it can also be live streamed on the iPad/iPhone app, if it’s downloaded.
You can also watch the red carpet stream on Hulu, if you’re subscribed to the platform. The cabler is also planning an “online companion show” for more commentary.
As for the show itself, unfortunately, NBC is not streaming the ceremony live. Its live streaming website, NBC.com/live, has gone dark ahead of the show, with a message that the net will not be streaming the Golden Globes online.
The 2016 Golden Globes will see Ricky Gervais return for a fourth hosting gig, airing live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
