  1. What about screenplay writers? You know, the people who do about 90% of the work in the entertainment industry!

  2. BillUSA says:

I’ll bet every one of them is a card-carrying member of the Communist Culture Club because Variety is famous for its distaste of anyone conservative.

    • Drew Gars says:

Then why are you here? If you hate Variety, then don’t be here.

      • Read the book Holllywood Traitors by Allan H. Ryskind if you want the actual story of what happened back then. You won’t, because it will blow your smug condescension and wrong information to smithereens, but at least you’ve been informed.

      • Duh says:

Drew Gars, I agree. BillUSA – I hate right-wingers who wrap themselves in the American flag and try to act like they are spokespersons for the American people And if you disagree with these right-wingers then you’re “communist,” unAmerican or unpatriotic. Be gone Joe McCarthy.
