As her acting career takes off following her Golden Globes win on Sunday, Lady Gaga is parting ways with talent agency WME. The “American Horror Story: Hotel” actress has signed with CAA for representation.

The singer-actress has won six Grammy Awards, and sold more than 27 million albums and 146 million singles worldwide. Gaga, who also holds 12 Guinness World Records, was named Billboard’s 2015 Woman of the Year.

Gaga has received praise for her role as “The Countess” on Ryan Murphy’s FX anthology series “American Horror Story: Hotel.” She nabbed an Emmy nomination last year for outstanding variety special for “Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek Live!” — the 2014 TV special that inspired a live tour.

Gaga and Bennett’s “Cheek to Cheek” album earned them a Grammy for best traditional pop vocal album last year. Additionally, Gaga and songwriter Diane Warren are up for a Grammy at the upcoming 58th Annual Grammy Awards for their single “Til It Happens to You” from the 2015 documentary “The Hunting Ground.”

CAA will rep Gaga across all areas, including touring, commercial endorsements, film and television.

  1. Everyone knows she purchased that Billboard 2015 Woman of the Year award. Prince exposed that.

  2. Chuck says:

Tired. Go away please. The only reason she’s doing tv is because her signing career jumped the shark, tanked, and flopped. She thought she was going to steal Madonna’s fame and fans, but she was outted as a copycat. Being in AHS is not a massive would wide accomplishment. She’s not Jessica Lange. Her little ghouls are also done with her, generation ADHD forgot about her long ago, after they alienated her from other casual fans, who would have actually paid for her music. She had a good little ride, and fu*@$d it all up. AHS likely pays her zilch, Gaga and Murphy teamed up in hopes of saving their own brand.
    Very transparent, very Gaga.

  3. Golden Globes are a joke and Gaga winning an acting award for AHS proves it beyond any doubts..

  4. Shaw says:

Acting career takes off? For a limited role on a TV series, she won an award from less than two dozen members of the HFP.
