“Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne tha God” is described as a weekly half-hour comedy talk show featuring a panel of comedians riffing on “the loudest social media topics of the week.” Charlamagne is a regular on MTV2’s air from his appearances on “Guy Code” and as host of “Charlamagne and Friends.” Brian Saracusa is exec producer. “Uncommon Sense” has an eight-episode order.

MTV2 is hoping to maintain the momentum it has this year. with the first quarter ranking as the highest-rated quarter in the spinoff channel’s 20-year history. “Guy Code” and “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out” drove the first-quarter gains.
