Lester Holt, Brooke Baldwin and Chris Hayes are among the TV-news anchors pulling up roots from studios and moving to Baltimore to cover the riots taking place there.

Holt, currently anchoring NBC’s “Nightly News,” will lead Tuesday night’s broadcast from the city. NBC News journalists Peter Alexander, Rehema Ellis, Gabe Gutierrez and Ron Allen will also be present, NBC said. This is not the first time Holt has anchored the newscast from a remote location. He held forth from North Charleston, S.C., three weeks ago, having secured the first interview there with Feidin Santana, the bystander who captured the video of a police officer shooting Walter Scott. His effort tonight puts him under a bigger spotlight amid continuing speculation that NBC News may not bring Brian Williams back to the newscast in the wake of a disclosure earlier this year that he falsified an account of a 2003 reporting trip to Iraq.

ABC’s David Muir will anchor “World News Tonight” from Baltimore, too. ABC’s Byron Pitts will also report from the city, along with Jim Avila, Steve Osunsami, Jim Ryan. Karen Travers and Mary Bruce are also on the ground.

Fox News Channel will offer live coverage of the tumult throughout its schedule. Bill Hemmer, Doug McKelway, Leland Vittert, Rick Leventhal and Peter Doocy are on the ground.

MSNBC is expected to broadcast live through midnight to cover events taking place in Baltimore. Chris Hayes is slated to host the network’s 8 p.m. program, “All In,” from the city. MSNBC’s Trymaine Lee, Joy Reid, Thomas Roberts, and Toure are also present.

CNN has dispatched many reporters to the region. Baldwin, Jason Carrol, Anderson Cooper, Carol Costello, Chris Cuomo, Joe Johns, Athena Jones, Don Lemon, Suzanne Malveaux, Miguel Marquez, Evan Perez, Brian Todd, and Ryan Young are all on the ground.

More to come….

They are a day late. It has quiet, peaceful and calm in Baltimore all day today. There have been large groups of Baltimoreans roaming around cleaning up the city, and I see none of that on the news.
