CeeLo Green, Gwen Stefani and Usher are coming back to “The Voice” — but for one night only.

The former coaches will return to NBC’s competition series for the April 27 telecast, the network announced Tuesday.

Green was an original coach from the show’s start through the third season, returning again for season five. Stefani made her “Voice” debut in season seven, and Usher coached for seasons four and six.

Currently in season eight, the coaches’ slate of musical red chairs features Pharrell Williams, plus originals Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera, who returned this round, after a two-season hiatus. “The Voice” debuted in 2011 with Levine, Shelton, Aguilera and Green.

  1. Sean says:

  2. debbie says:

Remember his words if u give a girl a rape drug an u have sex with her an she doesn’t remember is it rape!

  3. Karadel says:

I am so stoked about this. Just cannot wait like I can not spell either. Loves

    • debbie says:

Ban this really if u rape someone an she doesn’t remember wad it rape! He is only welcomed in the circle because he has $$$ scum

  4. Lola says:

He is on probation for pulling a Cosby (drugging a woman till she was unconscious) and then bragging on Twitter. This is disgusting! In court Cee Lo did not contest the charge of drugging the woman. His tweet indicates what else he did to her! Yet The Voice will welcome him back, as a returning star as if nothing has happened to that women or any others he may have drugged.

  5. Steelo says:

You know what? Those of you, the hateful and devilish people who thought they could do something to stop a great singer and wonderful artist from having a career back… Let me tell it to you straight! Who the hell are you to judge Ceelo Green? None other than an a hideous, miserable, bitter at life, foul-mouthed fool who hates to see people win and be successful. The people have forgiven Ceelo for the unfortunate situation. He did not rape anyone. And to those who put the negative spin on the situation while jumping the gun and treating wrongly because he’s a black man, God is watching. There are so many people who are lost and my advice to you all is to just go and stick your head in the dirt like an ostrich!

  6. Verna Osburn says:

One of the dropped charges was drugging a woman. He also said if a woman was unconscious and couldn’t give consent, it wasn’t rape. Why is he being celebrated on The Voice?!

  7. Actually Brad and Stuart, the rape charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

  8. Brad says:

I love The Voice but won’t watch a show that brings back an attempted rapist.

  9. Stuart says:

Why would the Voice put the rapist Cee Lo on their show? He should be in jail.
