Teen Choice Awards Winners List
Michael Buckner/Variety/REX

The Teen Choice Awards are kicked off Sunday night, gathering some of the biggest stars in music, movie, TV and the Web world to let teenagers decide who wins.

In music, One Direction and Fifth Harmony took home an impressive bounty, winning such awards as choice selfie taker and choice summer song, respectively. “Empire” unsurprisingly won the prize for best breakout TV show, and “The Vampire Diaries'” Nina Dobrev won her final award for the drama.

As for movies, “Furious 7” won for action movie, and Paul Walker was awarded choice actor in an action posthumously.

In the Web sector, Bethany Mota and Cameron Dallas won choice Web stars. Mota also took home the same prize last year.

Josh Peck, Gina Rodriguez and Ludacris hosted the show. The Teen Choice Awards aired live on Fox.

So happy that Super Junior won twice! They really deserve it! :)

  5. Lucas says:

Selena Gomez didn’t win anything? Really?

  6. deanna says:

forget everything. The only important thing is that Destiel won haha xD
    Congrats to the Supernatural cast!

  7. Makayla says:

5sos didn’t win!!?😱😱are you kidding me this makes this 5soser mad!and you don’t ever want to meet a mad 5soser!!

  8. Devon says:

Nathan Fillion, who was nominated above is on Castle, not Nashville. I know because I watch Castle, and I even double-checked that that was the correct actor’s name on imdb.com too. This should be corrected so others know the correct nominees and winners.

  9. Debra Brown says:

WTF why didn’t One Direcrion win choice fandom!!! 😤😤😡😡

  10. Heidi Edwards says:

a little confused…. teen choice awards??? exactly whatis the target demographic here? show opens with the R rated cast of Straight out of Compton..Wiz Khalifa with his pants hanging down…Nicki Minaj nom…best kiss nom between reese and sofia… Amy Schumer and Kevin Hart noms for best comedian… I could go on and on. These nominees and the cast of the show were very adult oriented, at one point one of the presenters said “i feel like I’m in vegas”… isn’t the teen choice supposed to be for 12-17 year olds? Are our teenagers really watching r-rated movies and such mature themed tv shows and song contents??? really??? B*&#& better have my money was nominated???? for teenagers??? Wow the teens I know just aren’t exposed to these kinds of artists and content.. that is until we watched the teen choice awards. I guess I’m either really out-of-touch or the teen choice award people are really out-of-touch and trying to force an adult agenda onto our youth. just a little sad

  11. Amelia Mikos says:

YOU SPELLED CONNOR FRANTAS NAME WITH ONLY ONE N. but this was helpful since I couldn’t watch, although I 100% agree with Vaelyn Mars who posted before me that I loved some of the people that were only nominated and never noticed enough to win an award even though the people who won ARE WORSE. It hurts to see actually amazing artists beaten out by one direction. 8 times.

    • Vaelyn Mars says:

Thank you. It just pains me how much love they get just for their looks. I’ve talked to a few “Directioners” who stated that they don’t even like the music itself. Which I hate so much, why are we looking at looks other than the art itself?

  12. Vaelyn Mars says:

I’m 15 and I can’t stand this list… most of these people have no talent in my opinion. I mean… it makes me feel extremely out of place because I’m praying one day this list will one day include actual talent. I mean, does our generation only choose these people based on their looks? That’s incredibly shallow and stupid. I mean, One Direction got 8 awards? I might get attacked by the Directioners, but their music is average at best. And how could Mockingjay win over Mad Max? I mean, Mad Max was one of the best movies to come out this year. I’m only gonna mention one more thing or else this comment would take an hour to write… It’s incredibly infuriating to know that people are still nominating complete c***s like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, or Ariana Grande. They can get away with disgusting things and they “apologize” and still get praised. Jesus… I just don’t understand or even like this generation.

    • Claire Graham says:

First of all one direction so deserve 8 awards because they work hard for what they do and their music is amazing! Secondly they deserve 8 awards because our fandom has gone through a lot this year and those 4 boys have still managed to keep it all together! Finally if your 15 why are you using such foul language?

    • Amelia Mikos says:

I agree 1000% with everything you said. One direction doesn’t deserve to win 8 awards and beat people with real talent that are usual not noticed as much

      • Vaelyn Mars says:

I’m glad I’m not alone here. I just don’t believe they have put out any content that was beyond “okay.” I’d love to see some 90s, 80s, 70s, and 60s rock bands. Or some of cinema’s masterpieces such as the Godfather. I know these things have gotten extremely positive response, but at this rate, some of these movies and bands will be cast into the void. That’s true music and film in my opinion.

  13. Very happy for Chloe and Kendall… Best little dancer and model every…..

  14. Mel Hasmen says:

What in the world writer said , Britney had won ? won for what ? i dont see her on the list of winners . Her Pretty Girls song was the worst song ever made in the music history and as well her music video.

  15. averee says:

Justin Bieber has his own app Shots for selfies and IG. This is questionable loss.
Also the better Collabration whould be Where are U Now with Diplo , Skrillex and Justin
The best breakup song was by Selena and Taylor won? Taylor’s song is about hatting on
    other women not breaking up.

  16. WTF says:

    Can somebody explain me this

With no surprise PLL and TVD won like every year …

  17. Brook says:

How come nobody knows who to vote for? Most of the nominees were unknown to me. It broke my heart when Zoe Sugg (An unknown YouTuber to me) won instead of Rachel Levin. It also broke my heart when Katy Perry wasn’t picked for any award eather. You voters are crazy.💔😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢💔

  18. adriss says:

Wtf, Family Guy? Show which uses degrading humor (and isn’t funny at all) wins over Adventure Time and Gravity Falls? UUUGH. Also it’s getting boring that almost every year PLL and Vampire Diaries wins. Those shows are getting more stupidier and boring with each season. jeez

  19. 1) dumb 2) dumb 3) dumb 4) NATHAN FILLION IS NOT IN NASHVILLE 4) dumb

  20. Project_mayhem says:

HAHAHAHAHA this is literally the stupidest thing I have ever seen. Apparently teenagers have no taste and are all complete idiots. The second your awards include best selfie taker you’ve officially lost all credibility. There is something wrong with our country. We need a new plague.

  21. Ahsoka says:

Star Wars Rebels should have won

  22. Iván el Terrible says:

Family Guy over Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gravity Falls? The more I read about the taste of American youth, the more realistic the plot of Idiocracy becomes (sorry if I offend any Americans around here, but things like this don’t give a good image of your country).

  23. Ewa Wrzosek says:

Good job Super Junior and ELF!

  24. Rachel says:

So proud of Kian. Look like he’s trying hard to return superkian13 and at the same time doing videos for KianandJc. I love him.

  25. Rita M says:

Sooo happy for Chloe Luskasiak for winning Choice Dancer!!! This young lady has worked so hard all her young life to get where she is now, with no help from Abby!! WTG Chloe….keep the world spinning with all that you are doing!

  26. abp says:

Demi won Choice Female Artist, not Taylooor

  27. felicia says:

You guys made a HUGE mistake, cuz Demi was the WINNER of the category Choice Female Artist (just look it up on teenchoice.com)……………. NOT TAYLOR.

  28. chloe :) says:

    janoskians should have won :)

  29. Wtf says:

I don’t agree with the summer tour choice. It’s like hello? 1989 tour is like wow! And on the road again tour win. Okay……

  30. Hanna says:

I’m sooooo mad! Lady Gaga didn’t win. She better win next time. (If only we could vote more)

  31. sfmnrne says:

Good job Super Junior and ELF!

  32. Lisey says:

Colleen “Mrs Evans” Ballinger so deserves her award. She’s not only funny she is so nice and humble and gracious and a role model in all those things for us teen girls. If Miranda hears about your win, she may whack you over the head with a surfboard while screaming “Are you kidding me! What the even heck! Where’s my award at?” so watch out for the listick wannabe Colleen!!

  33. vananhbee says:

If this reward is unfair so it should stop =))

  34. vananhbee says:

Girls Generation has more choice than Super Junior. why super junior is winner ??? Please give SONEs ( fan club Girls Generation) a reason?

  35. confused says:

It says Demi won choice female artist and Nicki choice r&b/hip hop artist on the TCA site so who really won?

  36. Gaby says:

YASSSSSSSSSSS ONE DIRECTION WON 8 awards my boys deserve it after all the hard work they do

  37. Danielle says:

    dylan obrien <3333

  38. sara cornell says:

Supernatural won both of their teen choice awards that they were nominated 4#yay :-) ;-)!

  39. Markus says:

They didn’t give Selena GOMEZ any awards for two (2) reasons, 1- TCA are also jumping on the “hate”(prejudice) Selena bandwagon, and 2, they gave Taylor a bunch so as to build legitimacy for her when Billboard hands her the Decade Award (2020/21) and later a Millennia award. Selena was robbed.

  40. Deborah S says:

Congrats to the lovely and talented Colleen “Mrs Evans” Ballinger on her wonderful win. Let’s hope Miranda doesn’t hear about this or she may whack you over the head with a surfboard while screaming “Are you kidding me! What the even heck! Where’s my award at?”

  41. Is LELE PONS! No PANS! LOL

  42. ... says:

Who else votes that Caitlyn Jenner should not have won and HE should never changed into a woman because it’s tearing his family apart???

    • Brook says:

EXACTLY! I think that was the dumbest discussion a person could ever make. He was fine the way he was! “Caitlyn” shouldn’t have been nominated in the first place. Of course “she” is tearing up her family, hogging the news, AND the internet! I mean… drama hog!

  43. Hey says:

    Um Connor’s spelled with 2 n’s…

  44. Ryan Ross says:

The only pop song won the rock award… *Cough*

  45. Ashleigh says:

YES!!!! I’m so happy that a k-pop group won!

  46. I’d love to see a list of who presented each award – as I missed all but the last 30 minutes of the show.

  47. Barry Allen says:

Holy mother of god, the taste of teens in completely and utterly terrible. Most of the “stars” suck and the fact they are including Vine, Youtube, etc….dear god. Let’s wait for the real awards ….Oscars, Golden Globes……

    • Truthspeaker says:

Totally agree! We are giving awards to untalented people who make videos once a week on how to apply makeup or other mindless crap. Let’s face it, viners and you tubers don’t deserve any respectability, especially those who rely on their looks to get attention. They profit by selling products like books, merchandise etc for twice the money because mindless 12 yearolds are aimlessly consuming whilst writing how they are their hero’s. These you tubers don’t know who you are … they only say they ‘love you’ because they’re earning millions from their fans. Give respect to those who really deserve it … firefighters and doctors ect… the real heros of today. Apart from that this stupid award show has no credibility as they make up more dumb categories. Why can’t we go back when music was decent. .. and rock wasn’t just 5sos or hosier or 21 pilots (POP rock…). Why can’t the teenage demographic watch better shows that don’t rely on stupid drama or idiosyncratic and trivial plots. What has American culture come to?

    • Veronica says:

thanks you!! Someone that finally gets it. I am 16 and reading through half the winners and nominated people I am thinking to myself why the hell did they win or why are they even being considered.

    • kiki2000g says:

I totally agree with you. I’m almost 16, and as I read through the nominees and winners, I rolled my eyes I’m disgust. Of course, all the generic choices won, and it saddens me especially that Eddie Redmayne won an Oscar for his performance as Steven Hawking, but couldn’t even win a teen choice award.*sighs* All I can say is that I can’t wait for the real awards season to start.
