ABC has given a full-season order to Priyanka Chopra’s “Quantico,” Variety has learned.

The pickup marks fall’s second new series to get a full-season order, following NBC’s “Blindspot,” which landed its back-nine order last week.

“Quantico” is an action-packed whodunit thriller that follows a diverse group of FBI recruits who have arrived at Quantico headquarters for training. The trainees are the best, brightest and most vetted so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest terrorist attack on New York City since 9/11.

Anchored by international superstar Chopra, the ensembler also stars Josh Hopkins, Aunjanue Ellis, Jake McLaughlin, Tate Ellington, Johanna Braddy, Graham Rogers, Yasmine Al Massri and Anabelle Acosta.

“Quantico” is one of the fall’s hottest new shows, averaging a 1.8 rating in adults 18-49 and about 7 million viewers overall in same-day ratings for its first three episodes in its challenging Sunday 10 p.m. timeslot, according to Nielsen estimates. The Sunday night drama has ranked as the night’s No. 1 broadcast entertainment series in adults 18-49, boosting ABC’s 10 o’clock hour by almost 50%. It has become a big gainer in delayed viewing too, and it is the only new scripted series this fall to grow its “live plus-3” demo rating from its premiere to week two (3.1 to 3.3).

The ABC Studios drama is exec produced by Joshua Safran, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Jake Coburn and Robert Sertner.

Admittedly the acting and the show leaves much to be desired. It does not spellbind you
But about the comment on Bollywood and cricket both of which I love, was misplaced . When was the last time a black or a women. (and on and on) become the President prior to Barack , Hilliary and Geraldine –oops, oops , and

Stupid show. Awful acting. Steals too much from Scandal. Sorry PC fans your girl can’t act as if Bollywood is an accurate barometer. She is getting a pass due to her Twitter followers. Plus, when was the last time a Bollywood movie or any movie from India was nominated for best foreign film? *crickets*

I fault ABC for letting her slide with that accent. Good enough for Modern Family. Not buying it for an FBI recruit.

And can someone get a new wardrobe for the director! Her church lady look is cringe worthy

  5. Priyanka promotes fairness creams in India. As if women don’t deal with enough self image issues, we have this movie star who promotes commercials that show fair as beautiful. Research ‘fair’n lovely’ creams that Chopra promotes, a bunch of ads can be found on YouTube #quantico

  6. Really interesting premise and I’m liking the direction and supporting cast, but man, I do NOT care for Chopra. At all. Not a great actress and I’m not buying her as a recruit. On top of that, my spidey sense tells me she’s probably a HUGE pain to work with.

    • Your spidey sense is wrong. Priyanka Chopra is a great actress but English is not her first language. She is working hard to become more confident in a fully English role, and working with a dialect coach to lose her accent. American English is very difficult for foreigners, especially since Americans do not enunciate their words but “swallow” them. She is one of the best in the business, and is extremely down to earth and professional. Priyanka can’t walk anywhere outside of the US without being mobbed by a very large crowd. She is by far the most popular actress in the world…

    • resoketswe says:

She’s actually often praised by her co-stars as one of the most professional people on any movie set. She apparently goes out of her way to be nice to people. Watch her interviews and just how well she connects to people. Your spidey senses are wrong.

    • Arka Sarkar says:

Lol really??? If you say that Priyanka Chopra doesn’t know how to act, then you probably do know nothing about acting! Go Google about her…

      • Aron_B says:

Ignore the comments from the Bollywood people. This is one crap show and the lead actress just sucks so bad. ABC is going down if it keeps giving low quality shows like this a chance just because the actress has a fan following back home. If your actual intended audience is bollywood crowd, give them a different channel maybe ABC Bollywood Curry and then also start putting random songs and dances in the middle of the shows.

      • AB says:

Well said !! idiots who try to pull her down will always b ignorant nd jealous of her success
