Comedy Central said it greenlit a 10-episode series as well as a one-hour comedy special all featuring comedienne Nikki Glaser, who recently hosted two seasons of a latenight series on MTV.

“Not Safe with Nikki Glaser” will blend conversations with comedians, pre-taped vignettes and what the network billed as “social experiments.” Glaser and her guests will share personal stories about sex, relationships and other “taboo” topics, Comedy Central said. Viewers will be encouraged to share their own potentially NSFW content with Glaser across multiple media platforms.

The weekly program is expected to debut in 2016. It will be executive produced by Glaser, Chris Convy, showrunner Chris McGuire and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Alex Murray  and Brad Petrigala.Gary Mann and Tara Schuster will oversee production for Comedy Central.  Her one-hour stand-up special is set to tape this fall and will be executive produced by Glaser and Murray.

Glaser has appeared in several other Comedy Central series including “Inside Amy Schumer,” “The Burn with Jeff Ross” and “Comedy Underground with Dave Attell.” She will have a role in the upcoming feature film “Trainwreck,” expected to be released in July.

Glaser is represented by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, ICM and attorney Lev Ginsberg.
