Mila Kunis, Tom Hanks To Be First Guests on James Corden’s ‘Late Late Show’

Tom Hanks and Mila Kunis will be the first guests on the fourth iteration of CBS’ “The Late Late Show,” helping to boost the debut of the wee-hours program’s new host, James Corden.

During the first week, Corden will also chat with Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Chris Pine. Musical performers in the show’s first week under its new host will include soul singer Leon Bridges and indie rock band Modest Mouse.

Corden is the fourth host of the series, following stints by Tom Snyder, Craig Kilborn, and, most recently, Craig Ferguson.  Yet Corden’s debut will mark the first time CBS will actually own the program, which was previously produced by David Letterman’s production company, Worldwide Pants. The network is expected to take a firm interest in monetizing Corden’s tenure through digital video clips. video-on-demand and other emerging behaviors that have translated into a significant portion of the viewership TV’s many latenight programs attract.
