Comedian Jon Rudnitsky Joins Cast of ‘Saturday Night Live’

Comedian Jon Rudnitsky has joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live” as a featured player.

Rudnitsky, 25, was featured this summer in Montreal’s Just For Laughs festival as part of its New Faces showcase. He previously won the Laugh Factory’s Laugh Bowl college comedy competition in 2012. He’s a New Jersey native who graduated from USC.

Rudnitsky gained notice in showbiz circles in early 2013 for starring in and producing a “House of Cards” parody video, “House of Cards Junkie.”

“Saturday Night Live” begins its 41st season on Oct. 3 with Miley Cyrus hosting.
