The 1967 chestnut produced by famed animator Chuck Jones has aired in recent years on ABC, ABC Family and TBS. NBC’s deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution gives the Peacock two airings per holiday season.
Separately, NBC announced Thursday as part of its Television Critics Assn. press tour presentation that “American Ninja Warrior” has been renewed for a fifth season. The obstacle-course competition series has become a summer staple for the Peacock. Hosted by Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila, the show wraps its fourth season with a three-hour special on Sept. 14.
