Hillary Clinton to Visit Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’

Hillary Clinton is headed to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Colbert announced on Twitter that the Democratic presidential candidate will appear on the Oct. 27 episode of his late-night show, joking that he “can’t wait to find out what project she’s promoting.”

Clinton is far from the first political-minded guest who has visited Colbert since he started his “Late Show” hosting gig in September. Jeb Bush appeared on the first episode of “Late Show,” while Bernie Sanders visited during the show’s second week and Michelle Obama has also appearedVariety TV columnist Brian Lowry called Colbert’s interview with Donald Trump a good example of a “funny, not fawning interview.”

Clinton has already made a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and cameoed on “Saturday Night Live” this campaign season.
