In anticipation of HBO’s Season 5 premiere on April 12, SXSWesteros will pay homage to Arya Stark’s early days of sword training, giving festival-goers the chance to test their sword-handling skills with virtual targets, creating a graphic “Game of Thrones”-style self portrait (see picture below), which will be instantly shareable on social media.
Fans of age can also sip on an exclusive sample of the latest “Game of Thrones” beer, Three-Eyed Raven, a Dark Saison Ale that has yet to hit stores. (It becomes available nationwide April 1.)
The installation will also feature the Iron Throne for those at SXSW to claim their seat.
SXSWesteros is open to the public March 13-16 in Austin.
