If you can’t wait another week for “Descendants,” you’re in luck. On Thursday, Disney released the first six minutes of the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, which premieres Friday, July 31.

The movie from director Kenny Ortega tells the story of the teenage children of Disney’s most infamous villains — Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Jafar and the Evil Queen.

Kristin Chenoweth stars as Maleficent, and “Liv and Maddie” star Dove Cameron plays her daughter, Mal. The rest of the cast is rounded out by more Disney family faces — Sofia Carson (“Austin & Ally”) plays Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy); Cameron Boyce (“Jessie”) plays Carlos, Cruella de Vil’s (Wendy Raquel Robinson) son; and and Booboo Stewart (“Good Luck Charlie,” “Twilight”) plays Jay, the son of Jafar (Maz Jobrani).

Now re-watch it and pretend you are 9-12yrs old. It’s going to be a hit.

  2. Murray says:

    This movie looks atrocious.

  3. Jordan says:

So far the movie looks very good can’t wait to see the whole thing

  4. The concept of having mercy is a good one. All of us in body are rotten to the core. That body unchanged sees God as fire. Good overcomes evil. Evil that is unseen cannot endure the unseen light that is in kindness and forgiveness. Evil people avoid being broken because they think they lose when they break. It is then that they become whole.
