This year’s program will feature two sessions examining the continent’s progress toward digital migration (“Digital Africa: Year One,” Nov. 4; “Digital Africa,” Nov. 6); a debate on the growing role played by China on the continent (“China Forever,” Nov. 4); a panel discussion on comedy programs and formats (“Comedy Content Is Here to Stay,” Nov. 5); a session on how African broadcasters can redefine news coverage of the continent (“Challenges & Opportunities Facing News in Africa,” Nov. 5); and an in-depth look at the growth potential for sports content (“Don’t Be Afraid of Sports,” Nov. 6).
