Comic-Con to Debut First Look at Kurt Sutter’s ‘Bastard Executioner’

Kurt Sutter’s hotly anticipated drama “Bastard Executioner” will offer a first look at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, July 12.

In addition to the exclusive footage from “Bastard Executioner,” FX will take over Hall H with new summer series “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” with creator Denis Leary and cast members Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix, Robert Kelly and John Ales for a panel and sneak peek, plus “The Strain” with showrunner Carlton Cuse, exec producers Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan and actors Corey Stoll, David Bradley, Mia Maestro, Kevin Durand, Ruta Gedmintas, Richard Sammel and Natalie Brown.

FX’s animated hit “Archer” is also heading to San Diego for a panel on Friday, July 10. Creator Adam Reed, exec producer Matt Thompson and voice actors H. Jon Benjamin, Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler, Judy Greer, Chris Parnell, Amber Nash and Lucky Yates will be in attendance for the discussion and a “Best Of” screening the series’ best moments.

As previously announced, Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story” will also be at Con to promote the upcoming fifth installment of “Hotel” with returning “Freak Show” favorites Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Matt Bomer.

The “AHS” stars will share the stage with the “Scream Queens” cast for a Murphy takeover. Fox’s fall horror-anthology will premiere at the annual convention.
