The department’s new moniker is Alternative and Factual Programming, a recognition of the global demand for a wide variety of original content from digital and TV outlets.
Speiser has been a rising star at APA since he joined the agency from Octagon in 2012. He’s helped rev up the company’s activity in packaging alternative projects for APA unscripted production clients including 5X5 Media, Back Roads Entertainment, Cineflix Productions, Collins Avenue, Hot Snakes Media, Ping Pong Productions, Super Delicious and Tremendous Entertainment.
“Brian has played an instrumental role in the evolution of our organization’s business,” said Hayden Meyer, APA’s head of alternative and factual programming, who is also a board member and partner. “In a rapidly changing media landscape where old rules no longer apply, Brian’s vision for talent representation and content packaging has helped us achieve unprecedented growth over the last three years.”
