Bill O’Reilly’s ‘Killing Patton’ Next Up For Nat Geo Channel, Scott Free Movie Franchise

National Geographic Channel and Scott Free Productions have set “Killing Patton” as the next installment of the telepic series based on Bill O’Reilly’s popular series of historical novels.

“Sherlock Holmes” screenwriter Anthony Peckham is set to write the four-hour screenplay adaptation. “Patton” will mark the fifth production based on the novels by Fox News Channel host O’Reilly and author Martin Dugard that offer alternate storylines for major historical figures.

“Killing Reagan” is set to air next year on Nat Geo Channel outlets in 171 countries. The previous entries — “Killing Lincoln,” “Killing Kennedy” and “Killing Jesus” — have all been highly rated successes.

“Scott Free Productions and National Geographic Channels have done a brilliant job bringing to life the towering historical figures in my ‘Killing’ series, and I’m very confident our continued partnership will yield a gripping film about General Patton’s tragic death,” said O’Reilly.

Scott Free’s Ridley Scott and David Zucker will exec produce with O’Reilly and Mary Lisio.
