So much for being dead. Bella Thorne will return to MTV’s “Scream,” the starlet announced Friday at the series’ Comic-Con panel in San Diego, Calif. “You will see more Nina,” Thorne said. “I’ll be back. More mean and less dead.”

Thorne starred in the pilot of the teen horror series, and was brutally killed in the first act, bikini-slain in an apparent crime of passion, leaving her dead body in the bloody pool.

“I really wanted to die on screen. It’s so cool,” Thorne added on the show’s panel, which was introduced by “Teen Wolf’s” Tyler Posey, who surprised the room with his appearance. “I’ve done horror movies and I had to watch everyone die and I wanted to die!”

She continued, “The character, it’s hard because everybody wants to kill you off because you’re not well liked. I felt bad about having to be so mean.”

As for the other cast members’ fate, exec producer Jaime Paglia said, “You don’t know if anyone here will be alive.”

“Scream” premiered last week — airing behind a special off-night episode of “Teen Wolf” — to a 0.45 rating in adults 18-49, a 0.65 in 18-34 and 1.03 million viewers overall. It fell 18% in 18-49 (0.37) and drew 811,000 viewers overall in its second week without “Wolf.”

Thorne rose to fame on Disney Channel’s “Shake It Up,” alongside Zendaya. Her other recent credits include feature films “The Duff,” “Blended” and “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.”
