APA has signed “The Age of Adaline” screenwriter Salvador Paskowitz, Variety has learned.
Paskowitz began screenwriting full-time in 2007. Prior the working in the industry, Paskowitz began his career in the surf apparel industry where he was chief designer for Billabong Sportswear and then Hurley Clothing. The son of the famous Paskowitz family — known as “The First Family of Surfing” — he was a student of The Arts Students League in New York City where he was classically trained in oil on canvas, and published his first comic books “Surf Crazed” and “Wave Warrior” in Surf Magazine when he was a teenager.
Aside from the 2015 Blake Lively-starrer, “Age of Adaline,” Paskowitz has film and television projects lined up.
Among his upcoming projects, he is producing a television series “Saint Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves” with John Jacobs (“Ted,” “Family Guy”) and Jenny Bicks (“Sex and the City”), plus is gearing up for his directorial film debut “The Shore” from his original script.
