    1. John Trapp says:

I don’t see this as an awards show, I see this as a funeral for the music industry. The music industry is dead, bury the damn thing already and let’s move on. This is beyond pathetic now what they are pushing. I’m assuming “VMA” stands for “Very Mediocre Awards”.

    2. Does MTV even know what is rock anymore? Lorde won last year and she is definitely not rock. I disagree with all the rock nominees for this year. Fall Out Boy is now pop-rock. Artic Monkeys, Walk the Moon, and Florence and the Machine are too indie or alternative. Hozier is just adult contemporary.

They should have nominated Foo Fighters, Seether, Incubus, Halestorm, Slipknot, or some other rock bands.

    3. warnerbrown says:

The whole show is only really for a couple people. “MTV” and “VMA’s” are both utter tripe bullshit. Best Rock Song “Take me to church”? that is not even rock.

    4. George Matusek says:

Where can I vote for best classical performance? I’m not using “classical” in the sense of Mozart or Beethoven, but in the sense of more modern composers such as Charles Ives, Leos Janacek, Virgil Thomson, Havergal Brian, and 43-tones-per-octave microtonal composer Harry Partch. LOL

    5. Jim says:

      Kanye West should attend!

Beyonce might lose to Taylor Swift.
