Will Smith Says Cheating Ex-Girlfriend Made Him Want to Be Famous (VIDEO)

Will Smith has a long list of people to thank for his Hollywood fame and fortune, but the person who truly inspired him to succeed may surprise you.

“When I was 15, my girlfriend cheated on me,” he said. “And from that moment, in this bizarre psychological twist, I wanted to be the most famous entertainer on Earth.”

    I’ll bet a lot of successful men are motivated by this. Freud would have certainly thought so. It’s either this or trying to impress a mean dad.

    BTW, notice how when a woman is cheated on, she cries to her friends, eats herself into oblivion for a couple of weeks, then bounces back and gets on with her life? But a man gets cheated on, and he must conquer the world, because that’s his destiny because one woman wronged him and now he has to show her and the whole world that nobody can ever get away with making him look bad?
