He will assume the new post on Sept. 1 at Los Angeles-based FIP, which launched in 2008 to produce and acquire local films for key territories. During its seven years, FIP has grossed $900 million at the global box office from films it produced.
Jegeus currently serves with Paul Hanneman as co-president of worldwide theatrical marketing and distribution for 20th Century Fox. Jegeus and Hanneman have overseen the international marketing and distribution teams since 2005. Both were promoted to run worldwide marketing and distribution in 2013.
Jegeus with report to co-chairman Stacey Snider. Hanneman will continue to run the global marketing and distribution operations for the studio and report to Jim Gianopulos, chairman and CEO, and Snider.

Jegeus began his career at Fox in 1990 as marketing director for the U.K. office. He became VP of Fox’s Asia/Pacific marketing division in 1998, then served from 2002 to 2004 as exec VP of marketing for UIP before returning to Fox as exec VP of Fox International.
