New Line Cinema

New Line has bought a pitch for a time-travel film from “Non-Stop” scribe Ryan Engle, Variety has learned exclusively.

Engle will write the script, which is said to be a fresh take on a time-travel story. John Rickard will produce under his Rickard Pictures. Plot details are currently under wraps.

Sam Brown and Michael Disco will oversee for New Line.

New Line is a big fan of Engle’s, as he is also writing “Rampage” for the studio. He is also developing an untitled thriller for Universal. He is repped by Original Artists, Mosaic and  Coldin McKuin Frankel.
