Sidney Kimmel Entertainment will fully finance and co-produce Nicole Kidman’s “The Silent Wife,” directed by Adrian Lyne from a script by Billy Ray.

FilmNation is introducing the project to buyers at the American Film Market, which opens Wednesday. CAA is handling domestic sales.

“Silent Wife” centers on a spouse who discovers that her husband is leaving her for a younger woman. She responds by beginning to plan his murder.

Producers are Lyne, Kidman, Per Saari’s Blossom Films, Paula Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan’s Mazur/Kaplan Co. SKE’s Jon Penotti and Carla Hacken will exec produce.

She’s been loosely attached to “Wife” since 2013, when the bestseller by A.S.A. Harrison was published.

Lyne was attached to the project last week.

Good decision. If it does well, Kidman will earn a Golden Globe nom and SKE can boast they financed a GG nominated film.
