News broke last week that Esola had left WME and was possibly heading to UTA, with sources now confirming the news.
At UTA, Esola will continue to represent established and emerging writers and directors working film and in crossover opportunities in television, digital media and other areas.
It’s unknown who will be joining him, but at WME Esola’s clients included directors David Robert Mitchell, Scott Waugh, Bryan Buckley, the Dowdle Brothers, Javier Gutierrez, Clay Kaytis, Tony Leondis, Mark Raso, David Rosenthal, Oren Peli and Jamie Travis, along with writers Kurt Johnstad, Jonathan Herman, Paula Pell, T.S. Nowlin, Chad St. John, Cory Goodman, Michael McCullers, Alan Yang, Nick Weiss, Fybel & Rinaldi, Shaka King, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, Evan Susser and Van Robichaux, Andrew Deutschman and Jason Pagan, Seth Owen and Rebecca Drysdale.
