Lee Pace and Carrie Coon will star in supernatural romance “The Keeping Hours,” with Jason Blum producing through his Blumhouse label.

Karen Moncrieff is directing from a script by Rebecca Sonnenshine, in which a couple attempts to reconcile a decade after their lives fell apart in the aftermath of their son’s death in a car accident.

Shooting is set to start in December. John Miranda is executive producing.

Pace starred as Ronan the Destroyer in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and as the Elven king in the “Hobbit” trilogy. He stars in AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire” and in Colin Treverrow’s “The Book of Henry.”

Coon portrayed Ben Affleck’s sister in “Gone Girl” and stars in HBO’s “The Leftovers.” Moncrieff’s directing credits include “The Trial of Cate McCall.”

Blumhouse is prepping M. Night Shyamalan’s untitled thriller with James McAvoy starring with Anya Taylor-Joy, Betty Buckley, Jessica Sula and Haley Lu Richardson. Its recent releases include Shyamalan’s “The Visit,” “Insidious: Chapter 3” and Joel Edgerton’s “The Gift.”

Coon is repped by UTA and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management. Pace is repped by CAA and Management 360. Sonnenshine is repped by ICM Partners and Circle of Confusion.
