Laura Linney is in talks to join the cast of Paramount and Michael Bay’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.”

Megan Fox and Will Arnett are on board to reprise their roles in the sequel, while “Arrow” star Stephen Amell was recently cast as Casey Jones and Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman. Brian Tee will play Shredder in the sequel, which Dave Green is directing.

Plot details and other returning cast members have yet to be confirmed.

Michael Bay is producing along with his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec are penning the script. Production is set to start next month.

The “Turtles” franchise is one of Paramount’s top properties following the success of last summer’s outing, which earned $191 million domestically.

Linney was most recently seen in “Mr. Holmes” starring Ian McKellen. She is repped by ICM Partners.

The news was first reported by the Hollywood Reporter.
