Jennifer Lawrence surprised kids at Kosair Children’s Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Ky. on Wednesday.

This seems to be a holiday tradition of hers as the “Hunger Games” star visited the same hospital last year on Christmas Eve and on Dec. 22, 2013.

Lawrence also stopped by Shriners Hospitals for Children back in August when she was filming “X-Men: Apocalypse” in Montreal.

The “Joy” actress, whose film hits theaters on Friday, spent the afternoon spreading cheer and taking pictures with the children, their families and hospital staff, who shared photos on Facebook and Twitter (below).

“Thank you for bringing many smiles to the patients before the holidays,” the hospital’s official Facebook page wrote.

One of the children, 8-year-old Cooper Fullen, underwent surgery on Monday for a tumor on his adrenal gland.

Hopefully the kids were all wearing protective masks,…for their sake.

    • I wonder about comment trolls real lives says:

Says the anonymous jealous troll. I’m sure the children, their families and hospital staff were happy to have her there.

  2. Dumbo says:

Oh so nice of you Jen and thanks for your publicist for letting us know about this publicity stunt.
Unless you plan to do it more than once a year around Christmas, don’t waste our time.

    • jjbinks says:

She does do it more then just around Christmas the article even states it. Her publicist did not put this out there the families and hospital did on facebook and twitter after the visit. What is she suppose to do tell them they can’t have a photo or post it to social media because the news media will pick up on it and publicize it. Sorry Dumbo you need a reality check, she did a good thing.

      • Live outside Disneyland says:

Oh Dumbo I think you are the one who lives in Disneyland, literally they have a ride named after you. She did not post the photos, nor her publicist it was the families and hospitals. Of course the hospital will post it brings publicity to their cause. And Daniel even if the woman asked for anonymity of the visit it would not happen because of all the children’s families and hospital staff it would have made it eventually to social media anyway. Unreal a nice thing was done but haters still hate. I don’t get it.

      • Dumbo says:

That’s BS but you don’t know it because you live in Disneyland where publicist plant fairy tales in social media (along with the hospital rep) and naive people like buy it like hot cakes, unless you are that publicist.
BTW there’s no Santa Claus either.

      • Daniel says:

        That´s, requesting anonymity.

      • Daniel says:

Reuqesting anonymity is not unheard of, nor impossible.

        Altruism for the ego.

    She is amazing!
