The all-lady “Ghostbusters” are here and ready for some supernatural butt-kicking.

The upcoming reboot’s director, Paul Feig, tweeted a picture on Friday of stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones suited up in full costume, utility belts included.

The director has teased the film in several recent tweets, including one on June 29 of the costumes hanging on a rack, captioned with the hashtag #whatyougonnawear. Then, on July 7, he tweeted a picture of the squad’s car with the hashtag #whattheygonnadrive. This time around he captioned the photo with the iconic #whoyougonnacall.

The anger has nothing to do with anything other than a wonderful series of movies that are being turned upside down and recast without reason. It’d be like a reboot of the original Star Trek series, but without Kirk, Spock, and Bones……

  2. Chad says:

This is the outcome when you make movies to push an agenda. Did you really think people would be interested in this? Hollywood is as much of a joke as the politicians are. Always attempting to shove something down our throats.

  3. bustingmakesmefeelgood says:

So there’s a token black one, a short fat one with glasses,a tall slim one with darkhair and a deadpan look and finally a geeky looking blonde with a quiff and glasses…sound familiar, you might as well just put the original cast in drag!

  4. CHICKENHEAD says:

I’ve seen Ghostbusters fan movies that look better than this. This “all girl” cast has absolutely no charisma whatsoever. It’s Ghostbusters for Social Justice Warriors, that’s all.

  5. Inspector Clouseau says:

This photo will be the only laugh it gets. Yeah,so much for politically correct bs. Bomb away Fieg.

  6. Dan says:

    Awful, this crap looks embarrassing.

  7. Nanny Mo says:

This will be interesting. If it fails, it will mean that all this hub-bub about we would all flock to see more films with strong female leads, if only there were more of them available, will be bunk. (We are in a very weird place in America now, if it succeeds they will cry victory, if it fails they will say we need to do it again. It’s as if the public refuses to make a choice, it will be made for them.) It better be better than the first one!

  8. Tom says:

Why?? That’s the only questions. No way they are as good as the original. So even if it is decent, it will be a disappointment. Hollywood needs to learn to leave the ones that worked alone, and improve the ones that should have but didn’t…but that would require them to actually know what they are doing!

  9. schwimmer says:

Disgraceful and shameful. There’s only one true Ghostbusters.

  10. Chelsea says:

    They look good.

  11. BobC. says:

    It’ll be a huge hit.

  12. gus says:

I’m actually surprised at how much I dislike this pic. It looks to me like either a bad SNL sketch or people dressed as Ghostbusters for Halloween. It’s like instead of making them look cooler, badder, better than the original, they went for total dorky.
