Bradley Cooper’s ‘Burnt’ Skips Limited Release Plans

The Weinstein Company has decided to forego a limited release on Oct. 23 for Bradley Cooper’s comedy-drama “Burnt,” which will go into wide release on Oct. 30 in the U.S.

Burnt,” starring Cooper as a mercurial chef, will open against a pair of comedies — Warner Bros’ Sandra Bullock dramedy “Our Brand Is Crisis” and Paramount’s “Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.”

The plans for a limited release in New York and Los Angeles had been announced by TWC on Oct. 7.

“Burnt” is directed by John Wells from Steven Knight’s script about a chef who needs to leave his bad habits behind in order to earn a three-star Michelin rating. Stacy Sher, Michael Shamberg and Erwin Stoff are producing.

The cast includes Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Bruhl, Riccardo Scamarcio, Sam Keeley, Alicia Vikander, Matthew Rhys, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson.
