AFI Fest to Feature Special Conversation With Benicio del Toro

AFI Fest 2015 has announced that it is adding a special event featuring Benicio del Toro.

The Academy Award-winning actor will come to AFI Fest, presented by Audi, on Nov. 7 for a special event called “On Acting: A Conversation with Benicio del Toro.” The conversation will cover his extensive career in film, touching on movies such as “Che,” “Traffic” and “The Usual Suspects.” He will also speak on his part opposite Emily Blunt in the acclaimed Denis Villeneuve-directed “Sicario.”

The event will be held in the Egyptian Theatre and moderated by Variety deputy awards and features editor Jenelle Riley.

Other announced sponsors for the festival include Vizio, AT&T and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which provided support to the World Cinema program.

The AFI Fest takes place Nov. 5-12 at the TCL Chinese Theatre, the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres, Dolby Theatre, the Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the Egyptian, the El Capitan Theatre and the Hollywood Roosevelt.
