A week before the cast of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justicetakes the stage at San Diego Comic-Con, fans can get a closer look at the Warner Bros. film thanks to new photos that debuted in Entertainment Weekly, which reveal Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) out of costume as their alter-egos Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince, as well as Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor sporting a ginger mane — a stark contrast to Eisenberg’s bald appearance in a previously released image.

Affleck also offered some insight into his version of the Dark Knight, a character that has been through many iterations on the big and small screen over the years, from Adam West to Christian Bale.

“He’s at the end of his run and maybe the end of his life. There’s this sort of world-weariness to it,” Affleck told EW. “He’s on the verge of being swallowed up by the anger and the rage that we see haunt this character in the other manifestations of it. But this guy is further down the line and has become more embittered and cynical.”

Judging by the photo below, Bruce and Diana will share some screen time out of costume. Affleck said of the encounter, “I love the fact that there was this ‘Thomas Crown Affair,’ Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person.”

Check out the photos of Affleck, Gadot, Eisenberg, Henry Cavill’s Superman, and director Zack Snyder giving Affleck some words of wisdom on set below.

    Batman is divorcing wonderful woman.

  2. Jamie C says:

Gadot still looks like she’ll snap. She has a small frame. She isn’t Wonder Woman.

  3. Paul says:

You made Batman look Evil ????? WHY ????

  4. Karadin Art says:

Really underwhelmed by the casting choice for Diana/WonderWoman, and the costumes are awful, muddy colors, IronBat? And actually, if I were to go see this, the only reason would be to see Affleck try the role.

  5. daveginoly says:

Looks like Batman becomes Iron Man. Gadot is a stick-figure totally unsuited to playing Wonder Woman.

  6. Jennifer says:

Gadot really sucks. Her face does’t BEGIN to resemble Diana’s.

  7. GKN says:

Great shots. Looking forward to this.

  8. Mantle Head says:

F**k marvel and all the little geeks and nerds who love them, enough. Ant Man..? What’s next? Termite Girl… Worm Woman; there’s nothing original in these stupid movies. Don’t care who you are, can give ANYONE – ANYONE on planet earth 200 million and they can film this rubbish, it’s a comic book… and that’s the depth of it for me as I live in the real world. I hate these f**king movies.

    • And this little tantrum has what exactly to do with this article? Ant-Man and Marvel aren’t even mentioned here.

    • YEAH101 says:

Your an idiot! Get laid or something bro.

    • Jagarnaut says:

This isn’t even Marvel — it’s DC Comics…. maybe you should go outside for a bit and count backwards from ten — i hear it’s good for you.

    • PG says:

Then pass by on the other side, saying “to each their own,” rather than complaining loudly, emptily and with exactly the sort of hyperbole that people try and criticise such films for. No, not everyone can turn money into a film. And comics are as valid for source material as anything else – lives, books, plays: anything.

  9. PETER says:

    we will see

  10. Mel says:

This is going to be such a steaming pile.

  11. Jai Courtney says:

This should have been directed by McG.

  12. Dunstan says:

Ben Affleck can handle the role; it’s the iron-looking cowl that I find troublesome.

    • Mel says:

That’s only for one scene. Snyder is apeing Batman’s look from the final act of Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns (all the way down to the chunky-logo bat signal), but the movie won’t carry the same weight because Batman and Superman are going to meet and have their showdown too quickly. In the comic, Bruce and Clark have decades of history together. This whole movie is going to be style over substance. Awesome for trailers, terrible for stories.

  13. buffalobilly says:

o lordy i can hear the boos now at poor ben’s attempt at this.
    hope his humor cums thru…

why does Lex Luthor have hair…
